Jared King, Chief Executive Officer, is an accomplished recruiter in both the corporate and agency staffing industry, and is responsible for providing the vision and leadership for the company. His extensive staffing background, mixed with a deep understanding of what recruiters need for success and efficiency, brought about the desire to help companies and recruiters be more successful with tools tailored for their specific challenges.
Before eRecruiter, Jared started and operated Kingdom Consulting, a successful recruiting agency that focused on Sales and IT hiring for Fortune 500 clients nation wide. The ability to find and develop strong relationships with top tier talent was the backbone of the company's philosophy. A combination of online recruiting tools and old-fashioned headhunting savvy made for a successful combination of finding the elite candidates.
Prior to this, Jared worked at MCI as a corporate recruiter, supporting many different business segments within the company. He successfully recruited positions in Finance, Marketing, Sales, IT and state & federal government departments. His time at MCI gave him a first-hand appreciation for what are the corporate recruiter's everyday challenges.
Earlier in his career he was an IT contingency recruiter in NYC, where he learned the basics of recruiting the old-fashioned way, in a manual environment with just a phone, pen and a notebook. These principles and techniques were the foundation for much of the success he has had in his subsequent positions and ventures.
Jared earned a B.A. in Marketing from the University of Arizona.
